Hi, Tony Hogan here. After only a Year and a Half I have a reputation as being the Worlds Best Acoustic Guitar Blogger. I have played guitar for almost 40 years. This has led me through numerous styles and has given me some incredible opportunities to play with world class musicians, absolute beginners and every variation in between.
I have four blogs listed here. The major ones are http://www.the-guitarplayer.com and http://acousticguitarist.wordpress.com/ I write articles, use videos, write Music Dots and Guitar TAB.
I am a former student of the great (late) Ike Isaacs from the Stephane Grapelli Quartet and also the Indian Sarod player (late) Ashok Roy student of Ali Akbar Khan from the Tansen line.
There are a lot of useful resources and ideas at my blogs, don't under estimate them, if you dig in and test out the material you'll benefit.
I play numerous styles and am not limited by a bias towards any particular genre. I am very interested in the emotional side of music and the overall development of the guitar.
