My name is Eddie (I’m a Ms. not a Mr.), although I was born in the Algarve, I’ve lived most of my life abroad and frequently traveled for work and pleasure. During a project on a small Caribbean Island in the West Indies, I met Moses, and to make a long story short, we discovered we had many things in common: all things techy, a love of food, great weather and exploring different cultures. Shortly after setting up our consulting company we realized the things we enjoyed most in life were right under our nose…in the Algarve, so we decided to make it our home.
The Algarve is a small but vibrant treasure of a region in southern Portugal. Since our move friends and family have visited regularly and we soon realized little is known about this jewel we now call home. This journal intends to change that by showing just what makes the Algarve and Portugal is so enticing. We look forward to sharing the trove of treasures to be discovered from beautiful places, culture and history to incredible food, wine, scores of festivals, nightlife and of course the “Calor” (heat) of the Portuguese Latinos.
