I earned my PhD from Texas Tech, spent 20 years in the US Air Force traveling around the world, then another 20 at a DOE National Lab doing science and technology and intelligence analysis, and doing more traveling. Now I write, as much for pleasure as anything else. I have a long list of scientific and technical publications and my stories and poetry have been published in Eat the State, the Houston Literary Review, Pen Pricks, the Tri-City Herald, the International Herald Tribune, and the Flash Fiction Carnival, among others. My wish is for world peace, $1/gal gasoline, and to have my novel, The Lion and the Sun, published some day; all seem equally possible.
