I'm a wife, momma, gramma and relatively new blogger writing about my life with autoimmune disease. Normally the body's immune system protects you from disease and infection, but with an autoimmune disease your immune system attacks healthy cells in your body. It no longer recognizes the body's own cells. To combat this I take immunosuppressants to try and keep my cells from attacking my organs.
Some posts are personal, some are advocacy related, and some are helpful (I hope) links or info for other people living with chronic illness and disease. I try to add as many links or videos that are as informative as I find them. I've also found that photography helps me deal with pain, so I include some of my nature shots.
