I am the mother of a beautiful baby girl, born in November 2007. She has inspired me to become a better person physically and emotionally. I am striving to make better choices for her, for myself, and for my family. I have to think not only about our present, but our family's future too. My blogs are about my blossoming into this new consciousness.
I am a university student, pursuing a B.S. in environmental science. I work for the International Dark-Sky Association, an organization whose mission is to use quality lighting to decrease light pollution because of its effects on energy consumption, the nighttime ecosystem, and astronomy research. I'm a mother and a wife, and my family and friends are what glue me together. I love amateur astronomy, music (especially Rock), Magic Mountain, and text messaging.
