It seems like you have put a lot of thought into the content and I really like the use of chosen words. On the other hand I think you should give your page some more balance length wise. instead of cramming all of your ads/widgets at the top... maybe you could space them out and bring them to cover some more length of your page. Other than that I like your layout. I'd say for some visual improvement you could design your title. with some kind of glow or reflection to easily match the feed logo to the bottom right.
