I'm a computer consultant and blogger by day and a blogger and computer consultant by night. That has been the routine for a very long time.
Computers and other pieces of tech have always consumed my attention. I love focusing on a new program or hot new gadget and methodically taking it apart. Sometimes the putting it all back together part goes horribly wrong, but you learn from that as well.
The internet with its endless distractions and web 2.0 social sites usually mops up what's left of my free time. The result of my work and play habits is way to much time spent inside staring at a soul-sucking computer monitor.
The worst part is I do love the outdoors; I just spend most of my time watching it through the window of an air-conditioned computer lab. That's all going to change.
I'm going to bring my core interests into balance. I've created a tech blog and an outdoor blog to monitor my efforts. Here's to finding a happy medium.
