The Savvy Entrepreneur is a blog dedicated to new and established service-based professionals who want to start, run and market their business effectively.

I want to share my thoughts, opinions, research, experiences, knowledge, challenges, blunders, tools and tricks of running a small business in the service industry.

I believe I was born an entrepreneur. I’ve certainly always had a strong passion. I’m also a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, so some of the things I include here will be from my own vantage point. However I won’t bore you with “cute” (read: boring) stories; most of the times I’ll be communicating to you as a curious and ever-evolving entrepreneur.

As a Mom, I’ve had to re-evaluate the way I spend time running my business. My focus has narrowed to “How can I find more time, do less and make more money?” I believe the secret to my personal and professional success is in working hard, being positive, reevaluating my goals, learning from my mistakes, improving on things I’m doing right, and leveraging my efforts.

I love hearing and talking about new ideas. I’m also a passionate student of the Enneagram (personality typing system) and love finding out what makes people tick. I like discussing deep and interesting issues.
