Using humor and facts, this blog makes common sense points that many seem to have missed, and offers insights on environmental solutions, not just problems. I enjoyed reading through the posts, and will continue to do so. Nice work!

Excellent coverage of important but little-known news about the US invasion of Panama (the latest one, in 1989). The other recent stories look to be great also, and i look forward to reading them.

This blog is truly impressive. I just marked it as a Techn. favorite and dugg/blogged one of its stories. It is refreshing to see original text and thoughts on how to help the environment, and to see so many practical solutions offered. Reading this blog was inspiring and energizing- great work! Highly recommended to all, no matter what your political beliefs are about global warming. Also, the blog is written to a very high standard, and the presentation is excellent. The design is clear and not overdone- professional once again. Read this blog!

This is the most impressive blog I have seen. It offers an astonishing amount of information (on Employment Law) and yet remains easy to navigate, helped by a terrific layout and design. It loads fast and is very clear on the screen (and to the reader). A model for all!

  • The Thin Red Line

The comments/reviews are very well written and the site is nicely designed- attractive and functional, with photos that add to the appeal without distracting from the purpose. I like the library search links based on zip code, especially since I have a moratorium on buying books for a number of reasons. The personal commentary is pretty personal, as advertised. I think that the site would have broader appeal without this side of things, not because one doesn't care about about Alan after getting to know him, more because one does care and it isn't always easy to read about what is going on. However, it may not serve the author's needs then. I think it would be worth considering splitting the site in two, books & personal. My 2 cents only- it really isn't any of my business. Again, the site is written with great clarity, and the book comments are easily enough to help potential readers decide about trying a book out.

I may be double posting this, but it seemed my comment didn't go through the first time. Anyway, I forgot to rate your site, so here I go again, I stopped by to see your elegant design. It is a breath of fresh air. I need a touch screen that allows me to rearrange the elements of my pages like finger painting. Or something. It is a good thing I'm not selling anything!
