Chris Jarvis is the Senior Consultant for Realized Worth located in Toronto. His area of expertise is that of Employee Volunteer Programs. He has spent the last 18 years working in and with NPO’s utilizing a model that elevates volunteerism from a task-oriented experience to a transformative experience. The model avoids the complexity of most popular approaches in Volunteer Management Theory, while increasing participation and satisfaction rates. Participants become more invigorated and productive in their respective places of employment.

Chris recently relocated from Indianapolis, Indiana, where he oversaw a large volunteer program involved in global social justice projects and Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Prior to his work in Indiana, Chris established two non-profit organizations in Halifax, Nova Scotia that had a focus on poverty relief and addiction issues. Over the years he has worked with thousands of volunteers, and has accumulated a large amount of expertise in the field.
