Most of this site is in Polish, so I can only comment on the English content. There is good historical content in English. The trick is to find it. You will not find an English link in the navigation up top. Nor will you find a little flag button to choose English. What to do? Well, one of the bloggers visited my own history site, so I could ask him. Turns out you have to look in the categories on the right. There you will find "In English". Click that and you get an About page in English as well as English-language posts about history and media. These are different posts. It is not a mirror of the Polish content.

Don't let the title fool you. This is not a winer's blog. If something seems out of wack in the world, you can depend on Tiffany to offer a unique, thoughtful, and well-written opinion on it.

Beautiful photographs and well-told stories by a woman with decades of diving experience and a passion for her subject.

Good combination of humor and intelligence, each reinforcing the other.

Charmingly strange blog about what this guy sees at the public library where he works. Given the list of regular characters, someone could probably take this as a starting point for a sit-com script.

I disagree with much of its content, but it is probably one of the most intelligent conservative blogs I've seen at BlogCatalog.

So many humor blogs are mean. This one isn't. Nor does it rely on the dirt in our headlines. Just Jenn's unique view on the silliness of this world.

Hard-hitting liberal political commentary from someone who knows how to check his facts and cite his sources.

I first found this blog because of a post he did when still a soldier in Israel. The author's voice and humanity soon earned my respect.

Best darn Civil War blog out there. A mark of his effectiveness is the critical statement at the bottom here. This blog is about Civil War memory. It analyzes our memories critically, and therefore it sometimes also shakes at our identity. Some readers won't like that. But if you're curious about history, have an open mind, and aren't afraid of intelligent commentary, then check out this blog.

A mark of this blog's quality is the ability of its author to draw me into subjects that I would not have thought were interesting. His subject is communications, usually for companies, but its relevance is broader.

First-rate political cartoons on this blog. Glad he decided to get back into it and share with the rest of us.

Pretty darn silly, and worth a look. I keep waiting for Narcissus-X to have some sort of personality crisis, but so far nothing seems to shake him.

The images of northern Norway helped make my summer in sticky Washington, DC a little more bearable. I like how you can click on the photo and see them in higher resolution. I'm not so happy about the URIs in the newest photos, although I understand the need for some kind of precautions.

The posts in here are sometimes so sad that I can only take one or two at a time. But what makes this blog stand out for me are its vivid images and unassuming authenticity.

Some problems with the ads on your site. They're not intrusive, but the "payday loan" ads that come up through Google advertise incredibly high-interest loans that exploit young soldiers living from one paycheck to the next in the worst kind of way. See for example this 2001 story on PBS. Not good. On a different note, it would be nice if you included the source of your quotations and images. You provide a little information, but not enough for the user to look the source up himself if he wanted to.
