Nothing out of the ordinary has happened to me, nothing that hasn't happened to probably hundreds of thousands of people already. One life you get, live it.

I've started so many blogs over the years trying to find myself; all represented a forgery of self. I think I'm landing permanently with Stiletto Irreverence. So, come trudge the road to happy destiny with me while I find my way.

I am engaged to a wonderful man, a dear friend who I've known for a very long time. We plan to wed in November of this year; I will refer to him, on this blog from time to time, as The Gent.
