Bob Loosemore
Retired sure enough, but not from an interest in what's going on, human nature, and stuffing a few more facts into my tired old brain. Fascinated by the variety of human behaviour and achievement, sick to the gills with the people who want to manipulate other beings for their own selfish purposes. Sorry for people who are not free, and for those who think they are. Born on a farm in North Devon, England, the nearest village Bishops Nympton was a mile and a half away, and life was as serene as you might expect, especially with a mile of walks - river to river, and never once seeing a trespasser in the fields and marshes that constituted the farm. Privileged, but destructive as well, because learning to rely on your own resources and imagination is no way to prepare yourself for life among people and in organizations where you follow rules rather than make them up. Still, I am a happy old git now, except when the real world impinges on my experience.
