Brit: Nice looking blog! And it's great to read a blog that's not afraid to go longform, stretching out a bit on a single topic. Well-written and wise and funny. I lived in New York some years ago, moving there from Colorado, and that sense of culture shock you're experiencing remains an indelible memory. You're not sure if it's the New World you've moved to or the New World you're leaving behind. Anyway, I'll check it out from time to time as you make your way in the Apple.
