This site is called "Danity Donnaly: All Access" with the tag line - "Classy, Sassy and Trashy Celeb Gossip." Like I always say the first thing I look at is if the content of the site lives up to the promise of it's name. Well, upon opening this site, I was confronted by content that was balanced to the eye and visually appealing and easy to navigate. The posts were well written and covered everything from Pam Anderson to some dude that wants more than an autograph from Brendan Fraser. The images on this site were topic specific and interesting. All-in-all a great site that definitely delivers on the promise of it's name.

Con Man's Blog--Six Hours Past Thursday

This site is called "Con Man's Blog". Upon opening this site I was confronted by a post called, "Con Men Specialty: How to Become a Dumpster Diver--Make a Fortune". It read like an instruction manual teaching would be Dumpster Divers the tricks of the trade when it comes to fishing your private data out of the garbage. But wait, before you get all angry and storm off to post a nasty comment, you must realize that the lesson was for you. Your private data shouldn't be in the garbage in the first place. The most this rube should get is a good helping of dirty diapers and a half eaten dog biscuit. Part of protecting yourself from being conned is understanding what makes them tick and the types of weaknesses they look for. This author brilliantly delivers this knowledge to you using informative yet entertaining posts. The site is simple and wonderfully free from all the AD BLING that some sites are so full of. The whole family especially young adults should visit this site regularly and learn how to defend themselves from people that would take advantage of good people. All in all a great read and a must visit.

When I review a site one of the first things that I look for is if the site's name matches the intent of it's content. This site is called "Movie Leech". This site offers a short descriptive blurb about various films. At the base of the blurb you are offered access to various archives (Video, etc.) that delve further into the various movies. You will not only find American films here, there is everything from Chinese to Hindi in a variety of genres. All in all, this site is attractive and balanced to the eye. I found it easy to navigate. The posts are descriptive and well written. I can say that this site does follow the promise of it's name.

While I myself am definitely not a techie, I know quality when I see it. This site does deliver on the promise of it's name, "What's Next In Tech". Well written and visually balanced I found this site nice to look at as well as read. From posts about Bill Gates to one post about a "peeping alien" the articles are well written and run the gambit from entertaining to informative. With minimal "ad" attacks, you can still appreciate the true "Blog" feel while visiting here. If you have an interest in Tech Sites, this is definitely a must visit for you.

First off, let me say that I have lived in Hawaii for 15 years. I was an internal affairs investigator and an afternoon traffic reporter for several radio stations on Oahu. Let's take a look at, "Going2Oahu Travel Blog". Largely, being a travel blog the posts here are targeted at the tourist market. What is great about this authors posts is that the information is presented for the tourist by somebody who I believe actually lives in Hawaii. From talking about "Dog the Bounty Hunter" to "Planning your Honeymoon in Hawaii" there is a lot of useful information for anyone planning a trip to Hawaii. By doing some homework before going on a trip to someplace you have not been before, a lot of headaches and wasted money can be prevented. This site is balanced to the eye and easy to navigate. The posts are well written and contain very useful information. All in all, if you or someone you know want to visit the ALOHA state, this site should be required reading.

How To Get Rid of Stomach Fat Blog
Monday June 23rd, 2008 at 19:36 | Rating: 10 | Report
This site does live up to the intent of it's name. "How to get rid of stomach fat blog" delivers exactly what it's name promises. Well written content regarding everything from diets and weight loss medication to artificial sweeteners. This site is really a dieter's dream. The author also references other great sites like, "Healthnutwannabeemom". The site itself is easy to navigate and is well balanced to the eye. While there are "ads", they are few and arguably useful to the reader. If you have a couple of extra pounds or are wanting to drop off a few more more than that, this site is a definite must read.

The Square. The Pub. The Street.

This site is called "The Square. The Pub. The Street." What I get from the title is the promise of variety. Let's take a look. Inside this site I found posts ranging from clicking for a good cause to a movie critique to a sports post. I tried to check out posts from the previous month but for some reason I could not get them to open by clicking on the archives list. From what I did read though, the posts were well written and informative. In my opinion the author did keep the promise of variety contained in the title of the site. The site itself is balanced to the eye and visually appealing due to the colors and nice photos. Absent too are the flashy ads trying to sell you this or that. All in all a great site. I am hoping the author keeps providing quality content like this for the life of the blog.

View from the Passenger Window
Tuesday June 17th, 2008 at 20:43 | Rating: 10 | Report
This site is called "View from the Passenger Window". The author tells us in his header blurb that he has been traveling in the US for about three months and being the "perennial passenger" he has taken the opportunity to take pictures instead of "falling asleep". Well as we all know the first thing I look at is if the title of the site matches the intent of the content. Let's take a look. The site contains a wide variety of photos and video shorts that were taken in various parts of the US. Countryside "nature shots", Interesting architecture, city views, events, and even roadkill are but a few of the myriad of interesting photos that await you here. What I found interesting about this site not just the pictures themselves but the eyes that found the shots worthy of taking in the first place. By looking at the photos contained here you will get an honest straightforward look into how someone from another country views America. The author provides us with a running commentary providing comparisons and observations between his native culture and that of the US. In one photo he seems amused at seeing a television antenna atop a building "In this day and age of HDTV and Blueray" in another he snaps a shot of trash along a railroad stating, "Trash along the railway tracks is quite normal in US too". It is common to take ones homeland for granted. A visit to this site may lead you to take a fresh look at the world around you and realize the wonder in the everyday things that you may never have given a second thought to. This site is well balanced to the eye and very easy to navigate. In true Blog fashion, there are no blaring ads trying to sell you this or that. All in all a great site that is definitely be worth the price of admission and may even give you the gift of gratitude.

This site is called "The Get Smart Blog". In all my site reviews one of the primary things that I look for is if the title matches the apparent intent of the site. Let's take a closer look at this site. At first glance, you might think that you are going to be confronted with well written, well researched posts regarding things like translator widgets, web publishing programs, and possibly even a few reviews. (Which by the way are even closely followed by the demigods over at Microsoft.) Well you thought right, that is exactly what you can expect. But more interestingly, you are going to get an insight into the mind of this brilliant author. She has a way of stepping out of the expected and with shirt sleeves up, will give you a slice of her life and a piece of her mind. The site itself is balanced to the eye and very easy to navigate. I can honestly say that after spending some time on this site, you will be smarter for the experience. =)

"Entrance to My World" is the title of this site. When I opened the site, I got a Blogger content warning page telling me that some of the material may be objectionable. Once the site fully loaded, I was confronted by a beautiful header of an image that screamed peace and reflection. When I scrolled down I found numerous posts that contained kind words from this author about another author's work, and a couple of posts about interesting things or topics that this author found interesting or intriguing on the web. All in all, this site in my opinion lives up to it's title in every way. One interesting point is that there are no ads. Blogging in its purest form. The site is balanced to the eye and easy to navigate. Altogether, your time will be well spent here. =)

My life As It Was, Is, and Will Be, The title of this blog just screams spiritual growth and the journey to personal enlightenment. This author will hold your hand and take you on a pleasant walk with her on her personal journey. She has a way of speaking to you and not at you. After reading her words, you too will have begun your own journey into understanding where you were, where you are now, and where you will be going. Thanks for the gift. =)

Background Check News and Information
Monday June 2nd, 2008 at 22:20 | Rating: 10 | Report
This site is called "Background Check News and Information" with a tag-line that states "We got you back(ground)". I am here to tell you that this author delivers on the promise of the title of his site. There is an old saying telling us that the key to foreseeing the future is by having a firm knowledge of the past. This is a truth worth living by. Whether you are in a relationship or own a company, it is always good to know who is a part of your universe. This site is full of very useful information but more importantly user friendly information. The posts are very well written and presented in a clear easy to understand format making the site easy to navigate. (What would you expect from an investigator.) I can easily recommend this site as a go to site when you "absolutely have to know".

Not Just Pretty : Sustainable Style
Monday June 2nd, 2008 at 07:09 | Rating: 10 | Report
This site is called "Not Just Pretty : Sustainable Style". I first thought that I was going to be viewing just another fashion blog. Full of gaudy colors and fancy widgets trying to sell me this or that. What I found was quite the polar opposite. This author presents well written posts that cover an array of topics from clothing that may or may not be made in sweatshops, fabric made from organically grown cotton, to eco-friendly panties. Solar capable clothing and hybrid vehicles rounded out my read. This author has found a brilliant niche to develop for herself. Previous to this site I had no idea that fashion was a bastion for the "green movement". The posts were very well written and full of useful information. Visually the site was balanced and easy to navigate. Interesting to was the obvious lack of clever ad widgets trying to sell you something. There was on tiny widget which mentioned ecobusiness links. I highly recommend this site to everybody that wants to be fashionable yet eco-friendly at the same time. =)

This site is called "A Taste of Both Worlds" with the tag line "People, places and things plus a dash of purple and a sprinkle of pink!" One if the first things I look at when I review a site is the name and it's relevance to the content of the site. Upon opening the site I was greeted by a delightful post about the "Celebration of Pesach". I did not fully comprehend the author's title about a taste of both worlds until I scrolled down to the bottom of the page and saw a post about "Icebergs" a popular eatery in Manila. (Actually the one that I go to is located in Makati, Philippines.) It was then that the light went off. In one blog this site had me visiting both Israel and the Philippines. I enjoyed my view into the life of what I can only guess to be an Israeli Expatriate now living in the Philippines. The posts are well written and the site is balanced to the eye. There are the occasional ads here and there but not to the point of outweighing content. The two worlds that this author is attempting to give the reader insight into could not be more opposite, but the author shows that it is possible to admire both worlds and even feel at home on either side. A nice read. =)

$ Secret Money Blog $ by : Bob Matharoo
Saturday May 31st, 2008 at 20:26 | Rating: 8 | Report
This site is called the $ Secret Money Blog $. The site description as per the author is "A blog providing Blogging & Adsense tips, Software & wallpapers downloads, graffiti art, gadgets reviews & other assorted randomness...". While for the moment the title strikes me as a clever technique to intrigue potential readers, the description is right on the money and delivers exactly what it promises. I must say though that when I opened this site, I initially thought it mis-loaded because the header or title of the site is in the top left corner of the site looking more like an ad than a header. While I found the posts very useful, well written, and easy to follow, this site looks relatively random and somewhat disorganized. In defense of the author, this fact may actually be a strength. There is a certain sense of adventure scrolling down the pages of this site. Almost like going to a garage sale, you are never quite sure what you are going to find. But like I said earlier, the author did promise "assorted randomness" and certainly delivered brilliantly.

The Ad Master - Advertise Everywhere
Saturday May 31st, 2008 at 10:20 | Rating: 10 | Report
The site is called "The Ad Master". Let me put it simply, if you have a website or a blog you need the information contained in this site. That is unless you like the sound of echoes in an empty building, because the only person that will be visiting your site is your mom. (don't get me wrong, that is a good thing too.)But I think you might have had grander things in mind when you were thinking of that witty name for your site. This site covers everything from search optimization techniques to giving exposure to a site that offers free 125x125 buttons. If it is about driving traffic to your site there is probably something here for you. The site itself is no frills and very easy to navigate. Balanced to the eye the layout and colors are comfortable and easy to deal with. With relatively little advertising compared to content, the visit is definitely worth the price of admission and you may even leave with more that you came with. =)

Again I am confronted by a site that delivers exactly what it promises. The site is called "My Recipe Collection". No tag line straight to the point. A total of nine recipes this site is what could describe as basic. Being a foodie myself, I love cooking. The recipes here are well thought out and easy to follow, and for the most part, Asian inspired. The site is visually appealing and easy to navigate. At this time there are almost as many Adsense ads as there are posts. There is real promise here if the author of the site expanded the recipe list and provided some more commentary on each recipe or just cooking in general. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Enjoyed your site. Satisfaction in every part of ones life is key to mastery over it. The education you provide is just as important as the way you make people comfortable talking about it. When people get past the negativity sometimes surrounding the open discussion, people can progress. The site was balanced in appearance and easy to navigate. Most importantly the posts themselves were very well written and presented in a no punches held yet tasteful manner. Thanks for tackling this sometimes hard to tackle subject.

This site is in total harmony with what the author promised via the title "Behind my camera lens". The author believes in his ability and knowledge regarding photography and displays this belief by posting detailed, well written, and often technical entries. This author's focus is photography, gone are the occasional political rants you will find elsewhere on similar sites. The layout is balanced to the eye, not shocking form for a photographer, and easy to navigate. While there are approx. 3 sections dedicated to "Ads by Google" they are done minimally so you still get the pure blog experience. In this day and age of the disposable camera, it is nice to see an artist at work.

One of the first things that I look for when I do a review on a site is the title and the sub-line. More importantly I look at how well the title works with the content. This site is called "Food for Thought" and the sub-title is "u do the Dishes". Interesting also is the site description "You said you hunger for knowledge, here it is -- eat it." We promise you everything and deliver nothing". I am here tell you that this group of authors has delivered on their promise. The entries are varied and well written. Definitely food for thought. You want knowledge? Like I said, a wide variety of topics served cafeteria style. Like walking a food line at a buffet, see something you like, just push the read now link and you are instantly served information on a plate. Now eat it. These talented bloggers promised you everything. Now here is the part that I do not agree with. The next line in their blurb says, "and deliver nothing". This site delivers what it promises and more. By looking at what these individuals decide to write about, you get a snapshot into the minds of these unique human beings. No, these guys deliver something, definitely. Now they just have to finalize what the site is going to look like. =)
