I am a 55 year old male who was diagnosed with AL Amyloidosis in April.
I am now in a chemo program to try and bring about a remission.
This disease often goes undiagnosed or misdiagnosed until it is too late to save the life of the victim.
We need to raise awareness in the medical community and the general public about this insidious and uusually fatal disease.
