  • Holy Hell

    Friday November 14th, 2008 at 20:22 | Rating: 3 | Report

Ryleigh is no lady. She is rude, crass, vulgar, arrogant, and seems to have the mindset of a trucker who took one too many "pep pills" on her way to "Harley's House of Love". Her blog consists mainly of commentary on what's going on around her and in her. Her vocabulary is "colorful" to say the least and makes use of words that I'm sure can only be found in the "American Standard Ryleigh Dictionary for Fuckerlies". If personality is the deciding factor in which blogs you bookmark, look no further. Good story telling coupled with the attitude of a drunken sailor on shore leave, the conversation routinely reverts to beer, snatch, and her love of both. Her "interesting" meter is off the chart. It's fun to read, but the lack of contextual photos and numerous loading errors garners it 3 of the 5 stars available. My suggestion is to read it, you have an equal chance of either cringing or falling in love.

  • Washington State DUI Blog

    Sunday November 9th, 2008 at 03:28 | Rating: 4 | Report

I liked this blog. It's no frills approach to the world of DUI and the celebrities, athletes, politicians, and repeat offenders that inhabit it is both interesting and informative.

  • james-luscombe

    Friday October 31st, 2008 at 01:12 | Rating: 4 | Report

If James Luscombe were famous, you could bundle this blog into a book and sell it. It is superbly written, in equal parts intellectual and introspective while remaining engaging throughout. He details each of the many photos of his work with imagery and emotion, clearly defining a moment in a structured and easily conveyed manner. Though his art is at the forefront, it's the inner workings of the artist that propel the passages. If your interest lies in not only the art, but the creative process of the artist as well, then there is no better blog.

  • Information Visualization

    Wednesday October 29th, 2008 at 14:02 | Rating: 3 | Report

I liked this collection of visual doo-dads, both useful and entertaining. This is the first blog of any kind that I've come across with this specific topic, and I can't understand why, it's a great idea. Good blog.

  • Just Like That

    Wednesday October 29th, 2008 at 13:28 | Rating: 4 | Report

This blog concerns itself with politics, economy, and Indian affairs. It's very well written posts are long and engaging. The look of the blog is simple and unattractive, like that of a newspaper with few photos. If getting to the point of a story without any superfluous distractions is your preference, this blog is a good place to start.

  • Coming full Circle....again and again

    Wednesday October 22nd, 2008 at 16:48 | Rating: 4 | Report

I may have been to harsh in criticizing this blog. Though, I feel that it's definitely not for men, it is however not a bad blog. There are tons of things to read and look at here. It will take you hours to go through it all. If you like this kind of thing, there is no better blog for you.

  • Coming full Circle....again and again

    Wednesday October 22nd, 2008 at 15:54 | Rating: 4 | Report

Holy Christ!...this blog is annoying....I'm sure my opinion comes from the fact that I have a penis and am in no way interested in pet cats, photos of friends, why this womans bf won't marry her( here's a tip: If your bf has been married & divorced more than once, then the most you can hope for from that relationship is to be his future ex-wife), and/or all the other crap we men have spent years devising ways to avoid. On the other hand, if you're a yenta, then this blog is the perfect starting point for you. There are tons of things to talk about and reflect on, all of them perfectly suited for gabbing. I must leave this blog now, before my penis withdraws into my abdomen and my nipples start hurting.

Not only interesting but useful too. Lots of computer/internet related material. I especially like the reviews on freeware software.

  • COWBOYS Football Blog

    Sunday October 19th, 2008 at 13:09 | Rating: 4 | Report

This is an odd one. A Cowboys football fan/news blog written in German. Considering I do not speak german it's hard to give a real review. There are some english translations, but they have the eloquence and meter of altavista's Babel Fish, which is rather humorous in itself. Overall though, this is football and not Voltaire, so the language hurdles are of little consequence.

  • The Redneck Review

    Sunday October 19th, 2008 at 02:16 | Rating: 5 | Report

You don't have to be a man to enjoy this blog, but it would help, as the posts are told from the perspective of the author, a seemingly "every-man". His observations and stories about his everyday life are well written, witty, welcoming, and wonderful. Ok, I was trying to fit in as many W words in a row as I could, but it's true. Like a good potato chip, it's hard to stop eating...er, reading. It's really good. You may find yourself reading it for as while before realizing that it's 3:00 am and you need to get up early tomorrow...today, gotta go.

  • Blackysky World

    Sunday October 19th, 2008 at 01:56 | Rating: 3 | Report

It's an eclectic collection of human interest, political, and blogger services news. As I read it, I got the feeling that a lot of the stories were put up to sell a corresponding product of some sort. However, it's not evasive and there's quite a bit to read.

  • Da Dominion

    Sunday October 19th, 2008 at 01:34 | Rating: 3 | Report

"...a horribly unbalanced waste of three hours akin to the mental equivalent of masturbation to a woman later revealed to be a dude...", this is an actual line from one of this bloggers posts. Dysphemisms like this are sprinkled throughout the various pages I read, which add color and humor to the passages. I have to be honest, it's a little strange. It's political but mostly(not all) geared to observing the nuances of political talk show hosts and their reactions to the topic of discussion. There are random quibs about black celebrity culture and news, and podcast set lists. The most prevalent entries of what I read were about...a rule set for a customized 4th edition d20 role playing game? I think that's what I was reading...I felt like I was asked to call the first guy in the phonebook but only given the last page, it was a tad confusing. The blog as a whole is written well, but sometimes I felt like I arrived late for the party and only know half of what's going on.

  • LinkManDX.com

    Friday October 17th, 2008 at 21:34 | Rating: 3 | Report

The topics on this blog seem to come from whatever the author seems to be thinking about at the time. The topics do not follow a theme of any sort other than sparse, heavily opinionated "news/information" pieces, his unbelievably narrow and simplistic views on politics and religion, peppered with opinions on random thoughts. The pages themselves take the minimalistic approach of being grey on black with no images, which I'm guessing is to focus the reader on the posts and the lessons he seems to be trying to convey, though rather forcefully. Though I find his meanderings to be somewhat hollow and condescending , he does deliver them in a well written and concise way. I wouldn't say it's great, but it's definitely worth a read. *Note- He also has the best taste in music I've come across the blogosphere thus far.

  • I Say Hella

    Friday October 17th, 2008 at 17:02 | Rating: 4 | Report

It's funny how interesting the world is when you're in your twenties. Idealism is most potent at this age, and this is true of the author of this blog. She is a black woman that gives you opinions and observations on her life as such. It's well written and interesting to get inside of her head.

  • The Great Monkey Suit

    Friday October 17th, 2008 at 14:44 | Rating: 1 | Report

The idea is there but, it's not executed to it's full potential. Simply, it's a guy in a gorilla suit being a jerk. My advice, be more of a jerk and do it in places where the average person goes. Such as at the supermarket(knock over the tomatos), the gas station(put the pump between your legs and make rude comments to the ladies trying to buy gas), go to the bank and try to take out a loan for banana farming...or something like those.
