Cynthia McKenna is a National Board Certified Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor and an Episcopal priest. She has more than 12 years of experience helping adults create the lives they really want.

The focus of Cynthia's work is to help people heal their relationships, reduce stress and anxiety, and create more peace in daily life. Cynthia is also a trauma specialist, working with adults whose lives have been changed by trauma, including sexual assault and sexual abuse.

Cynthia leads customized retreats and workshops Topics include: Couples Communication , Stress, Relationships, Creativity, and Spirituality. She also offers insightful business programs for staff development on Teamwork, Creativity, and Communication.

Cynthia consults with therapists and other small business owners on effective marketing techniques. She is certified to offer CEU's for Social Workers and LPC's. Cynthia also consults with clients across the continent by phone.

Cynthia earned a Master of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, a Master of Divinity degree from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, and a Master of Education with specialties in early childhood and human development, from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Cynthia is a member of the American Counseling Association, Boerne Chamber of Commerce, Comfort Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Women Business Owners, and WELEAD.

Cynthia's private practice is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. When she is not counseling, Cynthia enjoys growing herbs and heirloom tomatoes, tending her water garden, fiber arts, reading, and gourmet cooking.
