I like to help others have better lives by sharing information, especially via the Internet. I've done this as a journalist/photographer (see http://www.writers-edge.info), as a social science researcher, and as a website creator (http://www.hancockwebsites.com).

I also ghostwrite, edit, proofread and consult with writers and help authors get published. My writing was first published in 1964 and I've written news, features, business articles, poetry, short stories, and novels. I moved into the Web in 1995 and began blogging in June 2004 with "A Writer's Edge" at http://www.writers-edge.info/Blog.html, a writer's journal on English words, writing, and books--with a tech touch. I also specialize in creating websites for writers at http://www.hancockwebsites.com. I blog on occasion with the Niner Niner Blog Network, BlogCritics, 100 Bloggers and Lockergnome, own and moderate a community on Orkut.com and co-moderated the Writer's Block group there.
