Started in Parks, Recreation & Community Services; became involved in city planning and appointed to Planning Commission; later got a MPA, then a Broker's License, opened my own commercial real estate company. Eventually opened commercial real estate division for large S & L in California. After the terrible situation in California after the end of the cold war, moved to Virginia where I worked for banks doing residential finance; and finally opened a division of a bank to specialize in Reverse Mortgages. This product is the best I've ever done; my clients are all so delighted, and feel happy and secure after the loan is closed. Friendships are developed, and I end up with feeling I have really made a life better.
