I am a member of Mensa and of the “American Christian Fiction Writers” group and have attended the Blue Ridge Writer’s conference. I have been writing for personal pleasure for years, as well as taking formal classes at the University of North Florida. I have finished one book and am working on my second, as well as writing short stories, devotionals, and articles. I have had poetry published, as well as being published in BookPage, with Christian Devotions this fall, and with Suite101. I’m an avid reader and study the craft of writing through both courses and practice. My past employment has included being in the Navy (as an Engineering Laboratory Technician- nuclear chemist) and working in a tax and accounting firm.
