Yes, there I am on my grandfather's donkey during the '70s in Greece. My first real job (not the paper route I had as a kid) was in a kitchen... at McDonalds. I was the grill guy at age 14! My interest in Greek food rubbed off on me from my family at an early age and has been an integral part of my being ever since. I have worked in and run Greek restaurants, both in Toronto and in Greece. As a result, I have an intimate knowledge of Greek cookery from A to Z. On my frequent visits to Greece I am always on the lookout for new recipes or local/regional specialties that I can incorporate into my Greek Food recipe compendium. I hope you will try some (or all) of the recipes I post on my blog and I would love to have your feedback on the dishes!
