Basem Shalloufeh was saved 1983. His testimony is of how God delivered him from alcohol, fighting, and etc He was bound and the Lord loosed him by a chosen servant here in Israel. His sister Nayla was a born again Christian who prayed for Basem for twelve years. She wouldnt give up her stand on Jesus even through Basem would beat her. Basem was drinking one night and decided to go to the church to hear a guest speaker from Lebanon. He heard a message of the cross and Hell. He ran out of the church afraid and went back to the church the next night, but this time the Lord took a hold of his life and turned his life 180 degrees (completely around) for Jesus. From 1983 he has been following after the Lord and telling others about Him. Many have come to the Lord through my husband, Basem. My dad was Catholic and my mom believed God was in every house. I excepted the Lord at 6 not really understanding the true Christian faith. In 1994 the Lord took a hold of me, revealed himself to me and made himself real to me. I gave my life with the full understanding of Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and this was the turning point in my life. After a true conversion, the persecution began with my family and friends. I dedicated my time for three years to study at a bible school and gave the "alabaster box" to the Lord. It wasnt bible school that taught me it was my own personal relationship with the Lord and He continues to teach me to this day. I was broken, but I took what I had and I am using everything I have for the Lord today.
