I have been in the Independent HipHop Industry for over 17 years. I started as an assistant engineer at one of the top recording studios in the world "Sigma Sound" in philly. I worked my way up the food chain over a 5 year period finally opening up my own facility (Recording Studio) in 1998. I have earned several Gold and Platinum Records, Best Album of the Year Award and a few grammy nominations.

After years of watching artists come in the studio, spend a lot of money, and still not get a record deal or radio airplay for great hits, I decided it was time to do something about it. I took all my experience and all that I learned NOT to do from watching artist make the same mistakes over and over again, and went on a journey to find out what it takes to actually make it in the industry.

I have been studying the Independent Hip Hop Recording Industry for over 10 years now. I have bought into books, programs, and consultants to get to the bottom of why so many great artists never see the light of day. I now can see that more than 90% of all failures happen from lack of detailed knowledge of the Industry.

It's not money, It's not dedication. It is simply the lack of knowledge.

So, that brings me to today. I am a successful Independent HipHop Record Label consultant. I share information and help guide Labels to higher profits, More publicity, and more sales. i offer a lot of free articles talking in detail about the industry and try to hip my blog at least three times a week.
