Hello everyone! I'm a professional artist working in the American Impressionist Tradition. I usually work outdoors, a method of painting known as "en plein air" from the French phrase meaning "in the open air". I love the land and the landscape where I live which is filled with salt marsh, rocky coast, upland meadows, fields and woods. I also love gardening and along with the surrounding landscape flowers comprise a large part of my work. I paint using traditional oil paints, teach and work as a gallery director. I hope my paintings inspire in you a love foropen spaces and wild places and the pressing need for the preservation odf these beautiful habitats.
