Rippin-Kitten: a girl and her motorcycle blog

Liz - Great site and "about me". I took a "how to write a blog" course which was incredibly fun. One big thing we focused on was our name and aboutme. Yours is great and is probably a reason that you do well. Who is not curious about "Rippin-Kitten: A girl biker gone blogging". Way to go!

I'm asking a few college students this question. At homeschoolonline.org, I've posted the question: Any thoughts on the homeschooling movement from the point of view of today's college students? Do the kids who were homeschooled appear to be different than the public, parochial, or private school kids? Better prepared academically? More or less prepared for the college social scene? More or less mature?

Here's a question that i'd like to hear your thoughts on. From what you see in college, what does homeschooling look like? Do you know kids who were homeschooled? Are they better/worse prepared than the rest of you? More or less mature? Any awareness on this subject? I run homeschoolonline.org. I think this is an interesting topic. Maybe I'll run some research on this (ie, ask a few dozen different college bloggers for their views). thanks

Hi - I'm thinking of adding a second author to some of my blogs to have a bit more community. And a bit less work. Any advice on whether you should pick a virtual friend or real-world (what's the opposite of "virtual friend"). It seems to work well for you. Any background or advice?

My kids and I prefer Borders to Toys R Us. But we prefer a martial art supply store to either.

Really enjoyed the blog today. The karate school photo of desks made me smile. The student archetypes made me laugh but think about how I behave. And the zen master in the pizzeria puzzled me. Then killed me. Keep it up.

Your blog's great. You write like a writer. Nice graphics too. I'd never heard of sensei's dangling a belt with your name on it in front of you. Our sensei talks alot about us imagining it...usually while they're trying to get us to grind out more pushups or kicks or something..
