When my son started kindergarten I realized that any art instruction he and his classmates would receive in elementary school would be without the advantage of a specialist. Three years ago, through parental fundraising efforts, his school was able to hire me as Visual Art Professional, complete with my own classroom. Far too many schools are unable to support such programs. I created my blog in the hope that teachers and parents in need of "art projects for kids" will find these ideas useful.
