I'm a blogger, microblogger, IM'er, explorer, discoverer, web designer, socialist, business man, and internet guru. A friend to many and an enemy to none. I love to be needed and need to be loved. I'm a sensitive man with old fashioned values. I'm set in my ways while searching new ways to be set. I search for new directions in my life but eventually end up back to the rivers and the lakes that I'm used to.

My Happiness

Happiness is a state of mind, although my mind must be living in the wrong state. I do find happiness sometimes, but realize later that it is just a new level of contentment. Happiness can be a lot of things, but it's even more potent when two people are sharing it . It's one of those rare things that re-spawns, the more that you use it.


Helping Other People

Helping other people is something that I've acquired a taste for. I get a fresh shot of adrenaline in my soul when a person I have helped has been brought back to a state of realization, and rescued from the frustrating planet of confusion that has tormented them for so long . Almost on the verge of giving up and throwing it all away. Now sets high, on display, on the shelf of new knowledge and accomplishments.

This is my contentment, my easy-chair, my personal enjoyment. No matter how irrelevant it is to other people, it is, to me, an exploration of new knowledge and discoveries. I browse the web in search of new programs, technologies, advances, ideas.

The internet is jam -packed full of an endless supply of new and interesting things. New ways to harvest and re- harvest my mind. To mold my ideas and un-evolved self indulged creations into something that could circumvent into a new level of contentment using blueprints designed in my own mind. Connecting one idea with another, until what I have is a chain of virtual operations that work together like a well- oiled machine. I simply call it working smarter, not harder.

If You Build It, They Will Come

I'm not really big into being popular. Being the one that everyone waves to as I walk into a room. Frankly, I would not be happy being placed on a higher pedestal then anyone else. But, I do know that it is people that are going to get me places. I'm not talking about a Sunday drive to church, or a road trip to L.A. I'm talking about becoming a popular and accomplished blogger. Sharing my thoughts with the world. It can be hard to do unless you're passionate about it. Then, it becomes as easy as typing letters on a text field. Especially with all the helpful blogging tools that are out there today. Most of them are free.

Man Can't Live On Bread Alone

When I discovered that there are a lot of people in this world that are earning a decent living from blogging and interacting with communities and building up a substantial following , that's when I decided to reach for that same goal. With some simple advertising placements on my blogs, I can continue sharing my thoughts with the world, while building a reputable following of readers. The blogging world is very vast and fascinating to me. Filled with enough tools, designs , virtual gear, and technologies to keep a guru busy for years. A person must be passionate about it, otherwise they will fail, as so many people have already done. Blogs + Ads + Popularity = Money

Mine name is Stephen, but, over the past 7 years, people have known me on the web as kindspirit. The name was given to me 7 years ago, by a wonderful woman in India named Kashish Berry. She was one of my first friends on the internet, and I do miss her a lot. She just stopped coming online. A lot of things have changed since then, and I have learned a lot, and have mentally evolved in many ways. But I am still one of the nicest people that you could ever meet.

But, I have found out that no matter how kind, nice, or polite I am, there will always be people that take what I say, the wrong way. Hence, I have lost some friends from a simple and obviously unavoidable misunderstanding, on more than one occasion. It hurts, but there is no explaining once the damage is done. It just sounds too much like a person trying to verbally climb themselves out of a deep hole that they never meant to fall into in the first place.

Close Friendships

I do enjoy my long term friendships. I would rather have a few close friends then a few hundred acquaintances. There is something special about a friendship that is so close that you literally feed off each other's happiness and accomplishments. Filling your hearts with joy for one another. Talking about anything you want, and knowing that your close friend will never become standoffish because of it.

So a close friend doesn't answer you right away on Instant Messenger. It's OK! Because you know that your friendship with that person is so close, that they are not avoiding you. It's not that they don't want to talk to you. It's simply that they are busy doing something else. Perhaps they walked away from their computer and forgot to change their online status. I've done that a few times myself. Either way, I know, without a doubt, that I am not the reason why they haven't responded yet. And i just patiently give them more time to answer. That's what close friends do.

My Serious Side

Although I am a bit zany sometimes, I do have a serious side when it comes to business, responsibility, listening, understanding, and responding appropriately. I'm business oriented although I do tend to favor a more social behavior pattern.

I've Been Around

BlogCatalog is not the only place that I've planted my seeds. I'm also a member of many other online communities. Some popular , others not so popular. But either way, there is a very good chance that you and I are already members of another site, somewhere on the web.
