If your wit were any drier or viewpoint any more cynical, no amount of lemonade could slake my thirst. Whether this is you, a part you've fictionalized or some combo, as reading material, it really works. As crummy as the prostitute thing might sound, I agree with something Germaine Greer told me many years ago, "I have a lot more respect for prostitutes who say a price and then perform a service than for a woman who demands a million dollars from a man after a twenty year marriage ends in divorce. Other than compensation for sexual services, why would anyone think you owed them money just because you were no longer with them? And she said, if you broke it down by dividing the million by the amount of sex tendered, anyone could see what an unfair bargain it was." Germaine was truly a liberated woman.

I have not been able to look at more than a few of the images today, but really liked what I saw and as a student of history, art and geography I recognize Istanbul as one of the world's greatest cities. I look forward to reading more. I write about Florida in my blogs Florida Life and Garden Monkey Florida. Look forward to really digging deep into your blog as there is obviously so much there.
