I'm in my mid-40's, happily married for 22 years to Lamar. I have a 20 year-old daughter, Jessica, who married her sweetheart, Jason in 2006. Jessica and Jason made me a Grandma in May 2007 when Emmy was born. Life is good.

I write about my daily life, my family, my faith and about living in the South, USA. I feature my Southern recipes, photographs of my family and the local scenery, and I do it all with a touch of humor.
