Married for 25 years, my husband and I make our home in Muncie, IN. Unable to have children of our despite years of fertility medicine and procedures, we opened our home and our hearts instead to many homeless animals; some who had been abused and neglected.
Animal activists and vegetarians we support many animal groups including PETA, Sentient Animals, Fur is Dead, Animal Sanctuary, and many others.
I've been a crafter for over 30 years and love it...obviously. My home is full of my different creations. Recently my garage became my workshop. When I open that door I enter in a wonderland. Filled with fabrics, paints, and every type of craft appliance made, I feel at home and at peace. Working and creating with my hands fills a need within me that I can't describe. This feeling of accomplishment cannot be compared.
