I'm a former special ed teacher whose third baby was diagnosed with the most severe form of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). Before Jeffrey's death, I met another mom whose son had been diagnosed with a milder, tho still severe, form of SMA, and our friendship soon took off way beyond the boundaries of SMA. We share humor, 'Murphy' moments (enough to dub ourselves 'Lucy' and 'Ethel'), family values, and writing style and decided to tackle the blogging world!
