I spent most of my teen years (age 13-17) in back braces and body casts and am currently writing a memoir about that period of my life. I'm a northern "transplant" from New Jersey living in North Carolina with my wonderful husband, our two amazing children and the sweetest husky/shepherd mix on the planet.
