I am a mosaic artist and I live in Florida with my husband. I have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren.
I started doing mosaics about 7 years ago and my first project was to mosaic a guest bath sink top and backsplash. It was so much fun that I decided to do a very large coffe table. When I would attend the "Parade of Homes" in Denver and saw all the great things done with mosaics, I thought "I can do that" and have ever since. My idea for Memories in Mosaics was to create custom mosaics using keepsakes like dishes, jewelry, marbles, medals, etc. and preserving them in a piece that could be put on display rather than having your memories stuffed in a box or thrown in the back of a china hutch.
