I hail from the Netherlands and have lived most of my adult life in foreign countries. I am an expat writer not living in Paradise. I am not restoring an old farm house in Tuscany or tending my own orange groves in Spain. I have, however, seen my butcher's bedroom in Palestine, eaten fertility sausage in Kenya and had lunch at the palace of a Ghanaian tribal chief. My blog tells the light-hearted stories of my (mis)adventures living the globetrotting life.
