I was born and raised in Ohio and except for 2 years in northern California, have spent my whole life as a Buckeye. California is beautiful, but I was homesick. As they say, you can take the girl out of Ohio, but you can’t take Ohio out of the girl. I have 7 children, 7 children-in-law, 9 grandsons, 4 granddaughters (1 set of twins) and 1 great-granddaughter.

I have been sewing since I was 7 years old and learned on my grandmother’s treadle sewing machine. I also knit and crochet and do many other crafts as well. My husband of 48 years and I have run our own sewing machine repair business for the last 40 years. We know sewing machines inside and out and I will be glad to offer any hints and/or advice to you concerning problems you may be having with your machine or your sewing problems. I’ve always said, “If I don’t know, I will find out!” and that is my promise to you.
