Lilly is not afraid to step out and there and take a run at touchy subjects. I don't rate many blogs but after the fun I had reading through some of the topics and comments, I felt that I should give the BC crowd a heads up not to skip this one. Keep on keeping it real.

Indie is the only way to go to find the good stuff! I just found a band that Jim Dickinson (Rolling Stones, Ry Cooder, Sugar Cube Blues Band, North Mississippi Allstars) produced and played on in the 70s that's released some stuff that is fantastic. Plenty of provocation for thought with some sharp humor slipped between your ribs when you aren't looking. If you are in the mood for astringent observations, my advice is to take a deep breath and jump in. The content is not for the kiddies or the person who easily takes offense, but the talent of the author shines brightly for those willing to look beyond rigid sensibilities and be openminded to contrarian points of view without feeling threatened.

Many thanks for jump starting my Monday (I'm no fan of Mondays either) with the spooky story. It woke me up in a big way. I have questions about some of the things you mentioned (like what might you guess the sweet smell to have been?), but you were so young when you had this experience that it's amazing that you remembered the events in such vivid detail much less to have opinions. But if you have them, your fans are interested!
