I am an African American/female/blogger.

I'm a bith mother of members of the Hip Hop Nation and Gen Xer's. All males and all of them are now fathers. So I have the opportunity to see myself rebithed through their DNA.

My school is a combination of the old and the new. I have degree of knowledge from both social institutions.

I also have a degree in education. My field is Early Childhood Development. But don't get it twisted, I never liked Miss Romper or her room. My style is my own and I work hard at the art of teaching.

I use to claim that I was a developing blogger. It seemed like a nice way to declare my beginnings. That period of time is over. My blog is going to start moving into its next phase of development. With some help from my friends, good advice and constructive criticism~I plan to work on making it grow. Not just in readers but in content.

I have been politely black, now I just plan on being black like I am.

My passions include: Coffee,I like all kinds but I do not do Starbuck's!

Books,Books and more Books! I love to read my disposable income!

Chocolate,(which is an essential food group in my world)After all, it does come from a bean.

I am a music junkie,with no intentions of seeking any type of recovery program!

Our story is one of my favorite subjects,(his story works for me too)

Art, photography, dance and theatre are also in my mix.

Politics and social activism are a way of life for me. I enjoy on-line work and in real time too. Since there is an opportunity to look up information about individuals, I keep my political affiliations from the past on the down low. My present activism is centered around different topics.

Writing is a necessity of life. If I am not posting on my blog, know that I am posting somewhere! A cyber~socialite like myself has many spaces and places to reproduce inside of.

I am a work in progress...I'll be that way until the very end. Which I hope isn't any time soon!

My current set of goals are simple: Raise my income, IQ and hell up out of my life.
