I'm a religion graduate student in my mid-twenties, a year or so away from marriage. My life to this point hasnt been overwhelmingly difficult, but my perspective has been defined by periods of melancholy and unrequited love. "Despair and Coffee" is the outworking of my thoughts and questions about the human experience. Most of us, at some point, wonder what it all means and suspect that we might be getting the cosmic shaft. This blog is a personal expression of this common existential anxiety.
