I have been fighting bladder cancer since 2000. I have gone through radical surgery, the creation of a stoma, using a Urostomy pouch, chemotherapy and am now in remission. Handling this disease is not very pleasant but it is better than being below the ground. Chemotherapy was necessary since some cancer cells got through the bladder wall into the lymph nodes. I describe my battle with this disease in my blog. Take a read.
