I'm a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and twenty six years later I still love painting. Painting helps me to feel awake and alive.
I've got two teenage children, a dog, and teach oil painting at a new art center. Oh yes, I mustn't forget my part time job at the local library. I'm crazy about being around books- not just reading them, but handling them, seeing what's new, what's popular, and what classics are still being read.
My favorite activity has always been painting, particularly painting outdoors. Give me some interesting views, a sunny Spring day, and a quiet spot where I can paint in peace and I practically feel like I've reached Nirvana.
