I'm a mom to a really cool teenage daughter, wife to an equally cool man. Am I a tad biased? I have to say yes, as a matter in fact I am.
Seriously, I have been married to my lovely husband for close to eighteen years now. Our daughter is almost finished high school, and I'm painfully close to finally being able to enjoy the middle years of my life, free of the kid, though I'm sure she'll always hang around close.
I live in the desert southwest in the lovely state of New Mexico. We left the city life to move to where my husband is from, the rez. It's a much slower pace and I must say I enjoy the peace and quiet living in a smaller community provides.
I love to write. I love to show off what I write, whether what I wrote is good, bad, or excellent. I like to think that everything I write is excellent. But I think every writer feels that way.
On my blog I write about life, random thoughts that prick my imagination enough for me to sit down and write something. I never run out of ideas or things to write about. Life is like that.
As a writer, I write both fantasy and historical romance novels. It's a fun discovery to see that something totally random as From My Front Porch can help me improve my writing skills as a novelist, but indeed it has.
So, with that all being said, if you're game to walk along with me on this journey, come along. The shade on the front porce never goes away and the lemonade is always cold. Oh...and the cookies are great.
