We left America in June 2000 to retire to my wife's home city of St. Petersburg. I was a middle school teacher for many years, was a sailor in the USN, and finished my career as the owner of a small insurance agency in rural western NJ. I enjoy literature from the 19th century, writing my blog, walks in the park/forest in our neighborhood,cooking, and rough gem collecting. We spend summers on the Volga.
