I was born in a little town called Malta Montana and I lived there for most of my life. Then moved to Chinook Montana. There I was a cartoonist for 3 local newspapers. I loved cartooning and art. I have worked in oils, pastels. I first began sewing at age 13 on an very old Singer sewing machine. I attended lots of crafts shows in Montana. In 1984 I moved to Oregon and thats where I have remained. I love living on the coast by the beach. Astoria is located right on the mouth of the Columbia river. I am married and a mother of two teenagers. I am also a pet owner, 3 dogs and one cat!
My first love is my cloth dolls, but I also create rag rugs, stuffed animals, primitives, quilts, pillows, paper dolls, silly cards,hand bags and whatever else I can think of. In the dolls I love color and in my quilts too there is lots of color. I used second fabrics or second sheets to create the rag rugs. I like the idea of recyling fabric. I am a kid at heart and so there is lots of imagination in everything I create. I hope you will visit my blog and store, leaving with a little kid in you.
