painted fish studio is the work of a thirty-something woman living in the twin cities. she has a degree in graphic design (with a minor in art history), yet she’s currently a user interface architect for a firm in the warehouse district. she has explored creative outlets with classes at minnesota center for book arts, northern clay center, minneapolis college of art and design, and u of m’s compleat scholar program. lately she’s been missing the bookmaking/collage/assemblage and other creative work she used to do before she started to take work too seriously.
she has a deep respect for those that take the leap and do their best to make a living doing creative things they love. so this blog is a small part of her attempt to become creative again, and to share creative ideas/events with her friends and others.
