Sangtar is a fusion artist. He has provided music for many Punjabi artists such as Manmohan Waris, Kamal Heer, Jazzy Bains, Debi Makhsoopuri etc. He is credited with creating the new bhangra sound by bringing the traditional instruments into songs driven by solid dance beats. In his idle time he has started a blog to share his knowledge of Indian music with others. Sangtar runs a post production and music studio in Los Angeles, CA.
