A million years ago, Punditman obtained a Masters Degree in Political Science. Even before that, he had stopped being astounded at the vast amount of sub-standard, sycophantic punditry disguised as journalistic integrity. So the purpose of his blog is to separate the wheat from the chaff, and give alternative perspectives on 'big picture' politics. Punditman comes up with most of his creative ideas in the shower. He was once told by some academic muckety-muck that this may have something to do with negative ions.
