I have been a runner since I was 8 years old. I ran in the AAU Junior Olympics as a kid, and then ran cross country and track at Farragut High School. I attended the Univesity of Tennessee for undergrad, where I took a break from running competitively. I joined the Army out of college as a journalist and while I was overseas in Kuwait, I decided to start training seriously again. I'm currently back in Knoxville in grad school at the University of Tennessee. I have new found appreciation for running ultras and testing my body more and more. Wish me luck!
