This is an excellent site. If you have ever hungered for a deeper connection to nature and wildlife this site is a good place to start. The writing is straight from the heart and still smells of green wet moss and clean air after a raging thunderstorm. If you want to be reminded of where you come from read this site. This man knows the wild and is passionately in love with it….he has merged with it.

You can also check out his book if you click the link on his blog or go to www.sixhrs.com. Looks like a sophisticated thriller Jack. Congrats! : )

This is wonderful writing. I don't think there is a Mom around who would not relate to Ophelia's sentiments. Even if you are not a Mom, which I am not, I think you will resonate with the bare-bones human expression here. Good work. Thank you, Ophelia.

  • Our Evolution

    Saturday April 5th, 2008 at 14:27 | Rating: 5 | Report

I like your most personal blog best. Good for you. It is honest, real and from the heart. Your suffering has made you wise and thoughtful. I know from experience that although pain can be a tough teacher it often offers the deepest and most profound gifts. Not that I wish suffering on ANYONE; I don't. It's just that I embrace it ALL as LIFE. All part of the great mystery. No part need be cut off from the rest. No part need be catagorized as good or bad, judge as right or wrong, better or worse. It all is a PART OF. That is the magic of wholeness. And you are very whole and VERY brave. You are blessed in the great gifts you offer the world. I thank you from my heart.

  • A Cognitive State of Mind

What I love about your work in particular is that it is intimate, everyday items or people that capture a single moment of STILLNESS of PEACE for me. Our lives are comprised of 100s of thousands of these moments every day, but many walk right by and never see the intimate stillness, the art, the beauty in the MOST SIMPLE things. You have captured that VERY strongly. Which for me give your art emotion. Each photo made me wonder, think, and pause. I like that a lot. Good for you. You really have something unusual and special here. Keep going.

Lively, funny (laugh out loud) and entertaining. Good job. I love your phrase..."AMERICA'S MOST TWISTED NEWS SOURCE". As if the regular news were not twisted. Although, you DO say the MOST twisted. Gotta' love it!!! :) We all need to laugh more. A lot more. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to do so.
