I began my just-out-of-college career in 1997 as an editorial assistant at Entrepreneur magazine. I quickly worked my way up to copy editor, staff writer, and finally managing editor of the magazine and executive editor of Entrepreneur.com. I've since gone on to become a freelance writer and editor - anything from copywriting and web content writing to feature writing, freelance editing, and specialty writing tailored to the needs of a small-business audience.
Along the way, I devoted myself to several passions, all of which come back to my desire to help other people as well as the environment. In 2007, I launched my own online "green" apparel company specializing in bamboo clothing. And in January 2008, I joined up with an outstanding entrepreneurial team called ILD Global whose mission is to enrich others' lives. There comes a time in every person's life when you must devote yourself to a purpose - because without it, you wind up like the little hamster on the wheel...spinning and spinning with no place to go. It is a blessing to have defined that purpose and now to be focused on my dreams...and the appropriate actions that will allow me to achieve them.
